As the FMA worldwide celebrated the founding of the Congregation in Mornese on August 5th, so too was there rejoicing in AFE Province. Sr. AssuntaCollusi whose vocation story maps out the countries of Italy, Australia, the USA  and Kenya, donned the golden crown marking 50 years of Profession. It is also worth noting that she is the first vocation from Australia!
In the evening of August 5th Fr. Felice Molino celebrated the anniversary Mass in the community of Hurlingham with some FMAs from other communities joining in. SrAssunta  renewed her vows and also received a lantern from Sr. Margaret Nyaga - symbolic of the wise virgins  who kept their lamps lit for the Master. Fr. Basanes, the Regional Superior for Africa with the SDB Provincial Councilors and other visitors who had attended the installation of the new Provincial,  Fr. Gianni Rolandi the previous day, joined the community for a festive meal and celebration.
Among the gifts received were 50 beautiful golden  handmade flowers made of ribbon. Congratulations, dear SrAssunta, for 50 years lived in loving fidelity and joy!
