CHAPTER HIGHLIGHTS
On 31st May at around 5.00PM the fifth and the last day of the Provincial Chapter of the Province of Eastern Africa came to an end when the provincial blew off the Pascal Candle that was placed at the head of the map of Africa designed on the floor of the Chapter hall.
The first part of this day was dedicated to the voting of the newly formulated document. The second and third session was dedicated to urgent issues and AOB. Finally by evening when the issues were discussed, Fr. Provincial thanked the moderator and all those who were involved from the preparation up to the end of the chapter. Then the moderator gave his concluding remarks and thanked his team who journeyed with him through the whole process.
The Concluding Mass was celebrated by the retired archbishop of Mombasa His grace John Njenga. The whole event came to a close with the family circle in the real salesian spirit in which the true salesian joy was well manifested.
