DBYES is a youth friendly center focused towards empowering, accompanying and animating young people by training them and various agents of Youth Ministry to transform the society and church in Kenya.
DBYES draws its inspiration from Don Bosco, educator and friend of the youth whose life and teachings influence the education of young people around the globe.
We are a team of Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB)- Fathers and Brothers, together with lay volunteers, parents, counsellors, professionals, who continue our own formation in Knowledge, Skills and Convictionsabout Christian Life, and reach out to young people through retreats and seminars.
We conduct youth, young workers and young professional s pr ograms at certain fixed dates in our year planner. We believe that Young people need to be accompanied towards learning life-skills like:

- Care for the Body
- Interpersonal Skills
- Communication
- Stress Management
- Problem Solving
- Goal Setting
- Planning
- Decision Making
- Caring for the Spiritual Self
- Youth Counselling
Apart from dealing with young people DBYES also conducts programs for:
- Families and couples
- Teachers
- Catechist
- Trainers
- Singles and Single Parents
These programs are normally fixed in our annual calendar and also can be conducted upon request and prior arrangement from you at our or your center.

How can we work together Outreach Team & School Management?
In Boarding Schools…Invite us for weekend retreats or seminars: Friday evenings to Sunday afternoon.
In Day-Schools…Invite us to speak to youth groups: YCS, Scouts, Clubs, etc.
In any case…Invite us to train your teachers towards holistic education, and on how to make learning cool! You can always bring your students to our facilities in Karen for day programmes. Come with your picnic lunch. We will educate and entertain the youth through interactive sessions, videos, games, meditative walks...
The facilities are available for hire by Organizations such as Youth Groups, Colleges, Schools, Churches, NGO’s or those involved in Education, Youth Evangelization, Leadership, Training, and Formation wishing to run their own programmes.
